Taviusa has been around since 1999 developing cool and innovative traditional sea salt products. Coincidentally, the founding of the company took place at the very beginning of a resurgence in the production of traditional sea salt in Portugal. This resurgence is, in part, thanks to a growing worldwide interest in the value of traditional sea salt which continues to this day. It is also thanks to concerted effort by the growing community of producers and small businesses in Portugal dedicated to spreading the word around the world of this great natural resource.
